PARIS
There’s just so much good food and history around. Here’s a few:
Eat frogs with the frogs at Roger la Grenouille. And it’s convenient to the central city.

Sterne Caffe: Yes, visiting an Italian cafe in Paris is permitted…and in this case highly recommended. This place takes me back to a Europe of the late 19th century, confident with itself and dedicated to beautiful living. You will need a bit of cash in your pocket (about $100 for a full meal, but you can also just enjoy a coffee and pastry), but it’s soooooo worth it if you’re in the mood for quiet luxury, a great meal, and conversation with friends in an updated version old world living. Look for the winged-wolves in the windows.

Le Bon Saint Pourçain: Here’s what the Micheline guides write: Tucked away behind St Sulpice church in the heart of the high-brow Saint Germain des Prés district… Bistro traditions with a modern twist depict the delicious food – doubtless due to the high quality fresh produce. Booking advisable!
Brasserie Lipp. Yes, you’ll find tourists here, but then that’s true for most of Paris. This is one of the oldest and popular of the old brasseries.
