Regensburg: Wurstkuchl – in 1146, German builders completed work on a bridge crossing the Danube. The tiny construction office next to the bridge found new life after the bridge was finished as a food stand serving meat dishes. It still serves up great sausages and beer today, making it one of the oldest restaurants in the world.
