Reformation Essay Essentials

The Reformation begun by Martin Luther in 1517 destroyed the religious uniformity of Western Europe, a fundamental characteristic of European civilization during the Middle Ages. You should be familiar with the four major Protestant movements developed during the 16th century: Lutheranism, Calvinism, Anabaptism, and Anglicanism.

The following are essay questions that I culled from past AP Euro exams; all of them relate in some way to the ideas and information contained in the DBQ exercises. It may be instructive (for the mid-term as well as for the AP exam) to think how you might answer such questions.
