Now that you have characters fleshed out and a general idea of a story line, you need to begin thinking of how to transfer your story effectively with visuals. The images are as important as the words for enhancing communication and you need to think carefully how your visuals will convey meaning.
1] Now write a few lines of narrative or dialogue that exhibits a single event in the story of your character. It is important to stick with a rather singular and limited event, as the point here is to think about perspective.
2] Divide a piece of paper into six panels. Sketch the event in six thumbnail scenes, using different points-of-view in the panels. [If you are using photoshop or the Mac-comic ap you may use six photos.] How is this event perceived from different angles? How is this event perceived by different people involved in it?
3] Transfer the narration or dialogue onto the six panels.
